-What is the band currently up to? 
--A change in the line-up.again...haha! Nathalie Baril (Naty), our beautiful bassplayer, is back.

-Are you on tour, or writing music, maybe even a little down time?
--Brian and I, we've been trying a lot of musiciens in the last 2 year. We want the right chemistry for the second album, no matter how long it takes...

-Give us an update of what is going on in your lives.
--We are independent so it means that we do everything ourself. So there's not a doll moment, haha! The band is getting known world wide with the web, so we get a lot of mail from all over the world, even people from Japan are visiting our site daily. Being french, I'm pretty  surprise about that  but very happy about it!! The band is getting a lot of attention and sometime we have a hard time to keep up with everything that's going on.

-It seems as if every song Potion13 releases, makes a hit on the charts. So, has the band written any new music in the past few months?
-- Yes we got 6 songs "officially" finished. And some in the making. But I can tell you honestly that it is a bit scary. We feel a bit pressure cause we don't want to desapoint anyone. There's so much good music on the web, it's hard to be original too. But the way I see it, We're having fun and that's the maine reason why we do it!! So we'll do our best and I can only hope people have as much fun with our second album as we do.

-How do you challenge each other musically in writing new tracks?
--We do a lot of songs, play them and if we don't enjoy them after a while we put them aside or try to improve them. Brian write the music on the guitar , I put a melody to go with it. I try to  write words that go with the feeling of the music...

-On www.Potion13.org, there is a post for the need of a drummer. Will this drummer be live events or only studio recording?
--It's for live show and for studio too. We had to refuse some gig for this summer because of the change in the line-up, but it's fine. We should reveal the name of the new drummer soon, just waiting to see how it goes a bit before revealing his name.

-What plans does the band have for this summer? 
--Go to the beach, enjoy the sun, party!!!, ...would be fun!! But we want to finish the album so I guess it will be business as usual mixt with some fun here and there. Another interview, in a big magazine is schedule for this summer...Keep in touch at www.potion13.org to be up to date...
