What do you think music is?

It's not money, it's not fans.  Music is a santuary for people to love.  It's the live concerts that keep you jumping, buzzing around because you finally found something that knows exactly who you are.  Music is the way you live, the bands you see, the life that consumes you.  Music is alive, and like a poison, it will infect you in the best way ever.  There is no right or wrong, you won't feel stupid and you won't feel hated by music.  It's infinite, it's beautiful.

What do you think underground music is?

Undergound is not the up-and-coming, or the next-best-thing.  The literal term "underground" means "concealed and done in secret".  It means that you don't need the mainstream crap to be who you want and to show what you feel.  There will always be somebody out there that loves you for your music, not for what mainstream, corrupted industry throws at them.  To be "underground" is like an award, it's the best thing to me.  It means that you will always keep it real, no matter what genre you are.

What do you think "live for music" means?

It means that you will LIVE for music.  That everything about the industry makes you happy.  That just being inside an old-fashioned record store can make you smile like a moron and want to touch every vinyl thing there is.  You want to meet everybody that is there to meet and listen to everything there is to listen to.  Living for music means that you will speak of music whenever you can and ignore the haters.

Remember, "Play your music loud where it is welcomed, play it louder when it is challenged".  Don't care about the people who hate your music.  Because it's yours, and that's all there is to it.  You are the only one who matters.  Music is the only thing that matters.
